Tata Engineering, India's largest and the world's sixth largest commercial vehicle manufacturer announced the successful completion of the "Tata Show" in Tamil Nadu. The Tata Show covered 14 important truck and bus centres spread across Tamil Nadu and lasted over 25 days. Fleet operators, drivers and mechanics in Coimbatore, Trichy, Salem, Madurai and other cities were exposed to a display and demonstration of the latest vehicles in the Tata range and the initiatives launched by Tata in one of India's most important states.

The Tata Show was a reiteration of Tata Engineering's commitment to its customers and its thrust on providing solutions covering the entire chain of operations in the transportation sector. The products on display covered the most comprehensive range available in the market-starting from the 2 tonne pick up and going up to 40 tonne multi-axle vehicles, including LCVs, Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicles, Tractors, Tippers and Buses.

Over 6000 commercial vehicle owners attended these shows and were given demonstrations on new products such as the low floor rear engine bus, the LP 1109 mini bus and Euro II compliant vehicles. More than 2000 drivers and 1300 mechanics have been imparted specialized training on Tata vehicles. The Company plans to conduct another 13 Road Shows at other centres in the state and cover over 10,000 commercial vehicle owners.
