The College is approved by AICTE Vide No.F.No:06/05TN/E&T/2007/07,    New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Tirunelveli No. Aut/CEP/041/2007.

       The Institute offers UG programmes in the following with 60 students / Branch: 1. Electrical Engineering, 2.Electrical & Electronics Engineering, 3.Computer Engineering, 4.Information Technology. Lateral entry candidates holding a Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc candidate with Maths as main/ancillary subjects will be admitted directly to the II year BE course.

        The College has well advanced laboratories for all branches, and also has 24 hrs internet facilities with separate leased line.  The College has digital library with well stacked books and spacious reading room.  In addition to teaching education the college has Training & Placement Cell, Communicative Department, which concentrates on inculcating the skills of good communication.

        The College provides separate, good and safe hostel facilities for both boys and girls to cater to the needs of outstation students. Transport facilities are available for day scholars from specified location in and around Madurai city and Melur and enroute on payment of a nominal fee.
