Application forms for admission to second-year B.E./B.Tech degree courses during 2009-10 under the lateral entry scheme for seats in government, aided and self-financing engineering colleges under the purview of the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai and university departments of Anna University - Chennai and constituent colleges of Tiruchirapalli and Tirunelveli will be issued from May 26 to June 24.

The cost of application is Rs.300. It will be given free to SC/ST candidates on production of attested copy of community certificate.

The last date for receipt of filled-in applications is June 25.

The single-window counselling for admissions will be conducted at the Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology, Karaikudi, in the first week of July. Allotment of colleges will be done following merit and communal reservation, according to an official release.
