Wondering what Apple Inc's next iPhone will feature and how it will look. Technology blog site Gizmodo.com seems to have some answers. The site claims to have obtained a prototype of the fourth-generation iPhone that an Apple engineer had mistakenly left at a bar in Redwood City, California.

According to Jason Chen, editor of the blog, Gizmodo paid $5,000 for the device, disguised as the current 3GS model. The blog said that the product is probably the "real thing." Gizmodo said its employees played with the prototype for a week, disassembled it and found components labeled "Apple." The device was eventually remotely disabled, according to Gizmodo.

Gizmodo also received a letter from Apple asking that the device be returned.
