The condition of former Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, admitted to a hospital after complaining of uneasiness and breathing trouble, has deteriorated, doctors treating him said here on Saturday.
“His condition is now deteriorating. He is not showing expected signs of recovery. However, we are constantly keeping a watch on his condition and all other parameters,” Dr Narpat Singh, Superintendent of Swai Man Singh Hospital, told PTI.
87-year-old Shekhawat was admitted to the ICU of the SMS hospital on May 13 night and doctors had said the former Vice-President was suffering from lung and chest infection.
A large number of people including Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and former Chief Minister Vasundara Raje enquired about his health.
