Mashtika sangram- General Quiz

3 participants per team. Written prelims will be held on the first day from which 6 teams will be selected for the finals on the second day. Rules regarding the nature of the rounds will be informed on stage. Special prize for the best team name. 

Mokshaa- Variety

A maximum of 10 participants with a minimum of 6. 8 minutes duration. Any form of entertainment either mime, dance, or theatre performances are accepted. Judgement will be based on wholesome entertainment.  

Sangeetha sameera- Vocal solo

5 minutes duration. Karoke should be used and it must be free from voice traces. Only one song is allowed. Judegement will be based on quality of voice and stage presence.  

Gandharva  sampata- Instrumental solo

Only one instrument per participant. 5 minutes duration. No accompanying rhythm is allowed. Judgement will be based on quality of music and stage presence.  

Ukti jvalan- Antakshari

3 participants per team. Written prelims will be held on the first day from which 6 teams will be selected for the finals on the second day. Rules regarding the nature of the rounds will be informed on stage.  
 
Ad zap

Maximum number of 10 participants with a minimum of 6. 5 minutes duration for performance

And 2 minutes for question session. Any number of products can be advertised. Judgement based on humor, coordination, innovation and stage presence.  

Dub-a-clip

3 participants per team. You should bring your own movie clip which plays for not more than 5 minutes. Judgement will be based on humor and coordination. 

Foot loose

4 minutes duration. A blend from different styles of music will be provided by us. Judgement will be based on style, synchrony and stage presence. 

Short film

A maximum of 10 minutes duration. The film should be original and must carry a valid theme. The film may be in tamil or English. Judgement will be based on theme, quality of filming, situational music and performance of artistes. The short film should be sent in a dvd on or before 25.09.2009. the best three movies will be screened in the main auditorium.
